I have the same asrock mobo, but with an 8120 CPU. For the price of that ram, you might as well spend a few more bucks and buy 2x8GB (16GB). I don't like the vengeance ram... instead get something like Kingston HyperX FURY 16GB Kit.

Don't get the Kingston V300. Instead get something much faster such as: a Crucial MX100 or Samsung Evo 840 (256 or 512 version. Smaller is slower).

Any HDD for storage is fine. Cheaper the better. Spend your money on a good SSD for the O.S. You want at least 256, or 512 which is only $100 more.

I just bought an R9 270X on ebay new-like used for $110 shipped (USD). You can get these really cheap on ebay. Try that. IMO get a 270, 270x, or 750TI. Cheaper the better, they're nearly all the same (750TI less power, but cheaper).

Case: Whatever floats your boat, that's purely preference/style.

PSU: I reccomend the Corsair CX750 Modular. Great PSU and 750 should be enough for 2 GPU's if you decide to upgrade in the future. Plus great reliability/price.

DvD-drive? Who uses these anymore? :p

Monitor: I'm very picky on monitors. But i Would get at least 24" nowadays. I use a 30" dell and anything smaller would feel weird to me. Just make sure you get something that can show off the quality of your system... it's a pretty important part of your system.

    Windows: (See thepiratebay.org for $0).

Samus, I know you mean well, but there is no intel specific ram... I have no idea where you heard that :p. Yes intel motherboards can support faster speeds of ram, but amd mobos can use it as well. ~_~

P.s. the pcparkpicker site is really convenient, but the prices/reviews aren't really all that accurate. I suppose it could be all thats available to you in Aussie land. I personally use amazon for everything :)

p.s. the price difference on the 840 evo vs 840 pro isn't worth the difference. Go with the 840 evo as it is substantially cheaper (at least on amazon it is).
